Important info about CO2 laser and Lasir hair removal

Things to consider Through Laser hair removal treatment:

- Do not sunbathe before the treatment for at least 1 week.
- Do not sunbathe after the treatment for at least 1 week.
- You have to shave the area carefully 24 hours before treatment.
- On the area that will be treated Do not wear perfume, make-up, sunscreen or any kind of moisturizers before attending the session.

- Some people may experience redness and slight pain due to laser rays during the hair removal process, and the redness and pain may continue for couple days.

- Not recommended to bring children to the beauty center.

- make sure that you do not have an allergy to the laser or if you are using any treatments, you must inform the person in charge at the center before starting treatment.

- If you have abnormal complications after treatment, please contact the treating center or the emergency on 112 as soon as possible.

How to prepare for CO2 laser treatment
Avoid exposure to intense sunlight for 4 weeks before treatment
Do not use medications that cause allergies or sunscreen, such as doxycycline, for 3 days before treatment.
You should inform the specialist if you have any eczema, skin infections, or if you are undergoing any medical treatment.
Quit smoking for two weeks before and after treatment, because smoking can interfere with healing.
On the area to be treated, do not apply perfume, makeup, sunscreen, or any type of moisturizer before attending the session.

A period of rest at home for at least a week to ten days and not exposure to the sun or any perfumes or similar chemicals.

This outpatient procedure generally takes between 30 minutes and two hours, depending on the problem being treated.

Laser resurfacing involves some pain.

You will receive a combination of local anesthetic and sedative to prevent pain and help you relax.

Before treatment begins, your skin will be cleaned well and you will be given special glasses to protect your eyes from the laser.

It is prohibited to exercise, sweat, swim, or expose the skin to heat and sun in the first week.

It does not work well on dark skin
Laser hair removal works better on people with pale skin and dark hair.

It's not as effective on tanned skin or hair that's been bleached by the sun. If you've got a tan you'll need to let it fade before having treatment.
